The World Champion England Women’s team take on World Cup semi-finalists India at Wormsley on Wednesday 11th July in a one-day international. The England side captained by Charlotte Edwards have been victorious in their two previous matches at Wormsley in one-day internationals against Australia and will be hoping to make it a hat-trick of victories against a talented Indian team.

We are delighted that we will be raising funds on the day to support two charities; Get A-Head, which is a Birmingham based cancer charity fighting head and neck diseases, and Breast Cancer Campaign, who fund research into breast cancer cures. To show support for the charities, the match will be played with a pink ball and stumps, and spectators are encouraged to get into the spirit of the day by wearing a pink item of clothing, as we aim to turn Wormsley pink for the day.
