Wormsley are delighted to be hosting the newly formed Unicorns for their Clydesdale Bank 40 League home encounter with Surrey. The Unicorns, made up of the best players in the UK without full county contracts, will contest Group A along with Lancashire, Somerset, Sussex, Worcestershire, Glamorgan and Surrey.
They are sure to face a tough challenge on Sunday 22nd August against a Surrey team boasting an array of international talent, with players such as Mark Ramprakash, Chris Tremlett, Gareth Batty and Steven Davies, all under the leadership of the country’s youngest county captain, Rory Hamilton-Brown.
